If you had to choose one game to compete on.......

Ok so aside from all the genres,
What specifik game would any of you consider (dont say street fighters) A exellent game for a competition,
like racing shooting and yes fighting but be specifik.

I myself remember the time when Outrunners first came out on the arcade,my mom and I (yes my mother plays video games)Went on for Hours of play just for the fun and thrill of it.Until i found out it was crap on the sega genesis :( R.I.P

Oh man, Tetris Attack/Pokemon Puzzle League (they're virtually the same game)! Man that is an excellent competition game...
Second would be just about any bomberman game, also very good for competing :)

Congrats you cought on exactly what i meant,
Bomber man 5 wouldve been awsome if made in english,
but sadly the translation isnt 100% so therefore we sometimes find oursefls reading
"you have justskfhsdjkfhasj the race"
but hey the game still plays the same :)

goldeneye is the king of competition games so is street fighter 2 turbo
strangely enough top gear 3000 was fantastic competition game in its day

For head to head....it has to be Tetris and Track and Field. Track and Field is the best because you compete not only against your opponent in the game, but you compete for area around the machine, since it is so limited.

there are lots of games.
MvC2 and TTT competitions are around here (lines are like 6 guys all the time). I think puzzle and nearly any sports game would be great as well. Puzzle Fighter, Tetris, Tetris Attack, and the EA and Sega sports line up.

Ok so it comes down to 2 points,
Fighting Or Puzzle competitions...........
The result will end up in a tournement that i'll hold up selecting a certain netplay compatible emulator
