Who's the best Street Fighter persona?

In all of the Street Fighters Ever made,
Who's the best in your opinion?

If I lok at skill,I'd choose Ryu!
But in all coolness and originality I choose Gen.
2 fighting styles,The Old wise man "a la Bruce lee" bit is awsome and that punch line "You are Big Fool" cracks me up every time :D

Players Should relize taht even if your a cheap-or down right durty player,it doesnt matter.
As long as you find your opponents weak point and use it to your advantage.Now I know this may sound pretty harsh,but I never even saw one person even touche me (thats right a PERFECT ) while using Dhalsim.
Its just a matter of Experiance and taking the time to Learn your opponents way of play.

Bah, Dhalsim's weaknesses are that hes slow and weak. You can easily dodge his punches and kicks if you're quick enough, and once your close to him hes a dead man. I also hate Dhalsim btw............... :D

The moment you find yourself at "Fist" rage your little Dhalsim takes a whoppi'n.
But if someone is very "Adept" with the long limbs sucker you might get a little surprise......(Ever hold the joystick backwards when using Dhalsim? It makes him do normal range attacks!!!)

But you shouldnt try to always fight the same people.
Not everyone ahs the same amount (or way) of skill!
I hate to bragg but I didnt get good by fighting the computer controled opponents,I got good by trying everyone and anyone who wanted to.
I was in 25 SF tournements up until now.......
Let me tell you that alot those guys kick serious ass and when i look at myself i think i'm lucky to be out of there at least 16th (there crazy!!!!)
But the thing is,Maybe you can beat the champ......but what about the runner up?? hehe trust me you might find yourself "not that good" but trust me on this,
Your always good no matter what.Its just a matter of knowing your opponents way!

Zangief is another deal...........

STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!!!!!
He's the only character who has the "Right" to grab instintley after he blocked your attacks,
If your an ace with Ryu then I suggest A medium range type of attaking,Use the fireball to your advantage try doing slow ones then fast ones.
I still have some trouble but it never stops to amaze me when he gets too close. "Michoi Ariènal"
If you dont know what that means then your ready for the Pile driver!!

mink only reason ken has the flame is cuz his dragon punch is quicker and in some ways stronger than ryus thats a small difference between those to ryu stronger ken faster but over all evenly matched, sure akuma has the best of both of them due to his kill factor but either one of them could whip him in the handles of a master which just goes to show wot gambits been saying experience and practice does pay off!!! :)

Ryu is the Master of fireballs,
Ken is the Master of the Uppercut,
Akuma is the master of the Raging Demon,

And there all masters (in there own way) of the Shotokan art!

Ryu is slow but powerful.
Ken lacks power but makes up for it in speed.
Akuma has the best of both worlds but has the weakness of being evil which makes him loose more damage than Ryu.

Bison is for balrog but was changed cause it resembled to much of the familliar name Mike tyson (Mike Bison)

Alot of stuff where changed in the conversion from normal sf to sfex versions.Especially control!

Street Fighter EX is 3d but it plays just like every other 2d fighter. You can't move in the fore/background. In fact IMHO it plays just like SFA 1&2 with a few moves added to original characters and heap of new characters I've never heard of. (I can't find any background info on them)

ERRR WRONG!!!!!

Street Fighter ex series are NOT like the other street fighters.
First off you CAN move in the background as well as foreground.(just learn how).
Second,the moves are harder to do (e.i:the hurricane kick for ryu changed dramatically by obligating the player to hold the last direction inputed in the motion and tapping the kick button inorder for other hits to connnect,and ken has stayed the same but again the player needs expert timing in order to link up the usual "hurricane-shoryuken" combo)

And thirdly,every single hit moves like normal kick and punches arent as easy to link up as they are in the previous versions.So that means you have to be either lucky or very precise,making the game harder for beginngers.

2D fighters on the other hand is very unlikely diferent because of its simpleness as well as its speed.Take note the next time your playing ex that the speed in the kicks and punches arent as fast as it would be in the Alpha series.

Sorry for going *boom* on this but it really irritates me when (now dont take this the wrong way) someone withought Street Fighter experience start talking as if they know everything when they dont.Next time you might want to keep an open mind and look a bit further into the details.

i'd say Akuma, he is not exactly a classic but knowing the fact that he is a hidden character is most of the game and the facting that he is the only character that can pull off Demon's Rage.

Its Raging Deamon and Theres also Skaura and Evil Ryu that can pull it off.But only in certain games.........Evil ryu's Debute started in Sfa2 and Sakura's was in Marvel vs Street Fighter and Ex series :)

Hey, Replica, I'm not putting goth down and I apologize if I sounded like I was. I used to be goth about 2 years ago. Technical schools don't appreciate people dressed in the goth image... But there are some that take it to a higher level, making death threats towards people and using curses. Hell, they weren't even picked on! I think they were just bitter individuals. The goth group I hung out with was REAL cool.:cool: We just dressed in black (till the Columbine shooting, damn stupid kids:mad: ) and talked about the different clans of vampires and such. I didn't say ALL goth women were sluts, just a group at my school. They did ANYBODY!!! I'll just say this... the whole football team and a group of goth women in a portable classroom!!!
