i just rented guilty gear x for me ps2 and am sadly disapointed, its seems to be the almost exact same thing as my dc one, except my dc one is in jap and it doesnt play the backround music, but what i was wonderin' is if in guilty gear xx there are different chars.
hehe, i posted the first thread in this section. i feel so very special:P
should i also post this in the other ps2 forum or not :?

XX all the way. Story mode and Mission mode (especially) should keep you occupied for a long time. Survival mode is even more of a bitch now.

PS2 GG XX is way ahead of Dreamcast Gulity Gear which was the previous benchmark in the series

IMO, the 1-player mode in XX (or X2) is very weak. So unless you got a group of friends to play 2P mode, I wouldn't get it. Its all about the competition.

Fighting games were never about 1 Player modes, but GGXX offers so many different ways of playing the game that you can never really "Beat" it.

XX is just so much better and story-wise it is a sequel
(not just an upgrade)
but can anyone tell me what the fuck is the point of porting
over GGX XX Reload?!?!
Robo-Ky as a new chracter? wasn't he already in the
PS2 version of XX?

Along with Justice and Kliff. Good luck getting them in survival mode, though.

sounds cool, i'll have to read a review on it but i must confess i've never played a guilty gear but i recently brought MvC2 and i love that so what the hizoo

7im don't bother reading reviews you can get all the info you want from this forum :p
Anyways GGXX is a great game, you'll find the soundtrack is waaaay better than games that play the same batch of music no matter what chars u pick *cough MvC2*, plays a little different from MvC2 so if you're used to those kinds of games you might be in for a good surprise. As for new chars Terry forgot all about Slayer:eek: one of my fav. new chars. not super damaging but all about strategy and a little tricky too.

I just played that game today.. I had no idea what the hell I was doing while using axle-lo but I did well enough to kick that crap of some guy that went against me all of a sudden.. and it was my first time playing.
Anyhow.. damn that game is fun.
