View Full Version : FF7-2 & Kingdom Hearts 2?

I cant wait for kingdom hearts 2 but they say the chances of FF7-2 are unrealistic but i can imagine! :tears:

i was gonna post this.. but alot of ppl should expect a sequel to kingdom hearts.and when they said that theres no way of a FF7-2 i decided not to.....great find though nonetheless....cant wait for that sequel!!!

Actually on a ffsite i go to they had an interview with the maker of ff7. He said that at the moment square has alot of projects on, and he wouldnt want to do a sequal as he knows he wont be able to top FF7, so unless someone else does......
Great to hear about the Kingdom Hearts sequel, but you had to see it coming. The added ending is just fucking spectacular and hints of a sequel.

He also said that he liked to make a sequal to it.
That game pissed me off so much. I remember a freind rented it, and we went through hell and back to beat the giant boss with the knives and shit. Fuck that. We were happy to return that thing to the store.

No he said he would never want to make a sequal to this game as he knows he can't top the popularity of FF7. He thinks as FF7 still sells if a sequal was bought out and it didnt rate that well then FF7 would get a bad name:)

I have read an interview with him in a magazine one(two weeks ago there he said that he whould glady do a sequal or was it prequal, anyway he wanted to it.

I'm a big fanof Kingdom earts so I was very overjoyed to hear this news. As for the Unrealistic idea of FFVII being brought back to life...I said pretty much the same thing to the fanboys, still wouldn't shut them up. XD

I think it's kinda good they don't want to make a sequel to FF7. ^^; Dunno why exactly, I guess that game pretty much covered everything of it's story in the end.
As for the KH sequel, great! ^^ Anyone seen the secret ending to KH? Riku looks like Dante Schezar in there, class ^-^

Have you seen the OTHER secret ending for Kingdom Hears Final Mix? That shit is SOOOO cool. If you haven't seen it yet I think I have it to send if you want it :).

FF7-2... That would be a dream come true.. shit ff7 was just to good. Heh KH2 is gonna be pretty damn sweet, I can't wait till it comes out.

thats easy to say, but hard to do because they basically have to totally re-make the game completely because of the different engines. I'd rather they made FF7-2

Se thats why they dont wanna make a sequal they knjow people wont buy ff7 if the sequal is shit and if it is a failure it will put a downside on FF7:)

i dont think so. People loved FF7 and they know that it was a sweet game and i bet they dont sell much more anyway so it wouldent really put a down side to FF7 at all.

I've read about Final Fantasy 7 coming out with a sequel, but I also read that it's gonna be coming out on the PSP. Anyone know about that? :confused:

I felt the same way about MGS but then after playing MGS:SOL when I went back to play MGS without the cool new moves, I was hard to not want it remade. :o

Yep. Maybe it's just my uncreative mind, but I can't see a sequel to FF7 unless the story blows. Now what REALLY would be cool was to explore some sidequests, like I stated before. Like:
1) Playing with Nanaki in the future (centuries later, following the ending)
2) Playing with Sephiroth through his days in SOLDIER.
3) Playing with Vincent through his days in Turks.
4) Playing with some Cetras and fighting Jenova for the first time thousands of years ago.
5) An Asteroids type game with Cid (lol j/k)
Anyway I think sidequests would rule if decently made for most games. They could even pick my 4 first opinions and throw them all on a single disc, makingshort but variate and interesting games.
Damn I'm a genious. They should hire me.
