in case u did not know the PS2 has been lowered in price, most likly for the upcoming E3, right now its being sold most everywhere for 179.99
maybe xbox and GC will follow

I'd rather they kept the old price and made a console that wouldn't fail after a year.
ive had mine for a long time and never had a single problem with it :)

i personally know of 2 people with problems with it, negator and a friend whos ps2 dosent want to play dvd's

Hey my PS2 aint really a success story, I mean it freezes better then a refrigerator.
The PS2 sucks fucking cock when it comes to being a dependable system, what a shame. I think I'm gonna buy a new one when I'm better on my money but it is a shame nevertheless.

my buddy's ps2 wont fuckin read games anymore..it will read ps1 and dvds..but not ps2..which is fucked up....so we had a little..how would you call this...throwdown with the ps2...lasted 2 swings with a sledgehammer.....hehehehe

Fuck yeah, i wish that was the case. Although most games go down in price after awhile.
And on ps2, mine only gets ddr's once in awhile, but a buddy of mine gets them all the time
i know of 1 friend who had problems with playing dvd until he realized that it was his turbo pad turning it on and off

i treat it just like my other systems and they are not breaking down, and i hear scary noises from mine when i play contra which i dont like and i dont even stick a butter knife in mine

some peps have just been damn unlucky with there ps2 mine is cool after 2 years of abuse :D
Also back to the topic!!!!! Xbox has also dropped its price now.
