Well i heard ages agop that when they released GT3 they used nearly all of the ps2's capabilities so to enhance the game further they were taking it online

yeah i just read an article in GMR, that said the cars look the same, the backgrounds are getting touchups, and its getting 3 new tracks. new york, grand canyon, and some place in japan. i dont believe ill even rent it. the first one was good. but the control for the last two cars, just blew.

Wtf.. just 3 new stages and just a little touch up on the graphics ?? Well that would suck about the stages but I know for damn sure that the graphics look AWESOME, infact it looks to real.
You can get some screenies at www.gamespot.com and see just what I mean I couldn't even tell it was the game I was looking at.
I hope GT4 dosen't dissapoint me.

Gt3 was one of te best, and deepest games around I have ever played. I can onlu hope Gt4 will be as good as it.

Damn, I love Grand Turismo, It's probably the game that took me the longest to actually learn and love, the graphs are good looking, but the one thing I'm looking for the most is some additions of F1 cars. o.o

i heard that gt4 is gonna have about 500 cars as opposed to the 300 gt3 had.
lotta new options and tune-ups as well.
i believe ign had an article about the game.
nevertheless, that would be pretty sweet.

Rumors can do so many things for a game, they can build it up with so much hype that when we play it we're dissapointed or they can convince people that a game has so many problems people don't try it. This won't happen with GT4 because, well, it's the GT series right? Anyway, if GT4 comes close to the car count in GT 2 with the graphics of GT3 I'll get it... I just want more cars! A used Toyota! YAY!

after seeing screenshots and reading previews about need for speed underground, gt4 can kiss my ass. i loved nfshs2, while i though gt3 was mediocre as far as the fun factor goes.

There is not just 3 more stages there are 3 or 4 more areas as in surroundings for example desert or city based stages. there is mean't to be 100 or more courses and there is more than 500 cars for definet.

I was reading a little on GT4 and noticed that muscle cars will come back (there were a few in GT2 which IMO was better than A-Spec in many ways). Can't to buy the game, race the crappy races until I earn enough for a nice GTO.
I'm not a PS2 fan too much but I fell in love with this game fast when I borrowed it from my friend. I look forward to this release. Is it true the Europeans got like 4 different versions of GT3?

You know I am still shocked at how outstanding the graphics will be in this game, and for the ps2 I was expecting graphics this great to appear on ps3.
Graphics will sure compensate for load times, but I can't remember the load times being slow for GT3...

That shot looks amazing, the low-res movie didnt do much justice, but it made the background look really real to life! I wish they would do something about the cardboard spectators, most sports games have a problem w/ spectators I dunno how they can fix that :/

Oh I know what you mean, and I think they will fix that issue, wrestling games used to really piss the heck out of me with the issue you bring up, but most of the current wrestling games this year ( wwe at least ) have fixed this issue, and seeing as how this will be such a high profile game it will most likely be fixed as well.
