Shadow Hearts

Anyone ever played this? I absolutely love this game to bits, it rocks (even though the gameplay is very linear) <3
I love the storyline, and the main character, Yuri, rocks. xD
(He walks funny though, lol :p )
So, anyone played it? And what do you think of it?
You have to like the storyline in order to like the game, or else you're screwed. xD
I hated the trials that cat kid (Master Xiaofang I think?) made you go through though x.x

yeah i rented it once its a cool game. I like it for its sense of humor too. it looks like the twin of FFX though :D

Shadow Hearts is without a doubt an overlooked title. Rented it, fell in love with it, bought it, beaten it like 5 times. Enjoyed SH, more than FFX (yeah flame me but FF's are getting predictible).

SH is also apparently a second part to a game called Koudelka for the PSX, I personally never played it mind you.

Only downside to SH, and alot of RPGs, you can't skip alot of the damn text, makes replay a pain in the ass :(

Yeah, Yuri can fuse with monsters, really cool ^_^
Anyone else find the shout when he transformed into a monster in the beginning cooler than the "hmm" farther on in the game? xD

A Koudelka sequel? Now, I've got to check this out.

Gonna backtrack myself before I get too many hopes up, it's not a true sequel. One of your party member's mother, is Kou from the first game. Also there are many references with books from the first (so I've read the main cause of the first game was cause of a book?, well it's in SH) Still an amazing game, recommended highly.

The scream he did for the first part of the game is cool, but the 'hmm' is shorter, lets me play it faster :)

Well both endings are good, one of them would open up to carry on the bloodline of the harmonixer (don't wanna spoil the endings so not saying more).

Games with multiple endings are great, if the company (designers) decide to make a second or fifth part, it makes one wonder which ending they'll stem off from. Cause I know God damn well I didn't beat MK1 with Liu Kang more than once, so wtf is he the main char in 2, same with Legacy of Kain (wolf game in sheep's clothing) since they used the evil ending to branch the offspring from.

nah, i like FFX better but dont get me wrong SH is a cool game. I recommend renting it first though

Mine was when Yuri was seasick and when Margarete told him he was tougher to kill than a cockroach ^_^

I did not play Shadow Hearts, but I have a little brother that bought the game and played it, I just watch the story of the game. I like it myself, so I played it for a while. It's a real good game.:thumbup:
