I was going through some old threads and this one just went nowhere. I was gonna vote on it and reply, but it was closed like after nine replies. That thread was the poll, not pool, for best fighting games. So I'm gonna redo that thread, and make it better.
Here we go. I put both VF games cuz there pretty much the same thing. If you like one or the other of those two, go on and vote for it.
If there is a game that you not see on the poll, I apologize, but I think these games will do.

Hmmm, this is a tough one...
But I think the best fighting game of the moment is Soul Calibur 2... it's easy to get into, yet challenging to master. Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution is nipping at its heels as the most elaborate and well crafted fighter of this generation though.
hmmm, i'd say mortal kombat DA is the best for me right now. I love that game.

I wanna say GG XX (If only CvS2 wasn't so shitty looking on ps2) but I havn't tried EX3 and love the EX series so I just can't say. Anyway I don't really like the ps2 controller for fighters, I'll just stick w/ the dreamcast ;)
I'm gonna have to say Soul Calibur 2 is the best right now with VF4:evo and GGX2 in a very close second place

VF4 or GGXX. It's too tough to call until I buy VF4:E and check it out.

Guilty Gear XX is my favorite of the lot. Although it's a hard choice to make, Soul Caliber 2 is a very good game in it's own right. Either way, I like fighting games with a weapons based fighting system. Don't forget, Samurai Showdown paved the way for that genre. I can't wait to play the new Samurai Spirits sequel!

yeah until i play soul caliber 2 or VF4:E its a tough call to make. SC2 looks great though, i wanna get that soon.

Wow. It is tough to choose, and I made this poll. I only have Tekken 4, Guilty Gear X, and Def Jam Vendetta. Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, and Marvel Vs Capcom 2 I rented. I'm gonna get Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution (since it's only $20) and Soul Caliber 2 soon.

Yeah, I think more people will buy Virtua Fighter 4 Evo for the price, it's very attractive considering the mammoth improvements they made.

Dead Or Alive 2: Hardcore all the way, and tekken 4 if you put multi votes, But u didnt, so i olny got to vote one so thats waht i chose, but if i could chose one more it would be... VR4

I think VF4 is has the best replay, I havent played VF:E though. I heard it was real good.

Yeah I must admit that the "BB" (bouncing thingies xD) are a bit much, but still I like the fast moves and arenas and characters and stuff :p

Right now, I'm kinda wanting to get VF4:E for my birthday, since it's only $20, a very cheap price for anyone to get. So I'm waiting til then. And also, I'm waiting to see if I win that contest for Soul Caliber 2 I entered, a very fat chance to win but who knows. I'm super cheap right now, I gotta pay for some junk during this month. Probably after my birthday, ehich is coming in a couple of weeks, I'll actually vote on my very own poll. Soon...

I'm literally counting the days down till Soul Calibur II is released here (only 19 days to go!) but out of the ones i've played prolly MK:*DA. But thats just me.
