I'm guessing that was a homemade site that got deleted by geocities because it contained ROMs. All those files uploaded for nothing :)

Yeah all the free hosts check their sites for things like ROMs, mp3s etc. If they find any they'll delete them.

Dunno it might work, free hosts suck though! I had my site hosted on Tripod and even the people here who have cable access said it was slow.

I would imagine any hints to iffy material link or otherwise would still be deleted. I thought about the sane thing Kamen but it would be kinda hard to pull off.
