Why bother playing FF2? It sucks big time. I mean, there are so many games better than FF2 ~ FF3, FF5, ToP, Chrono Trigger, BoF, BoF II, Lufia, Lufia II, Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, Secret of Mana II, Secret of Evermore. Get my point??

have you ever even beaten ff4 (aka ff2)? If you did you would have liked it. all the ff games are good with their story and battle system with the exception of mq. so if you didn't, go finish ff2!!!

hold on a sec, thats not right, FF2 is known as one of the greats, because when it was released, it was way ahead of its time, you cant compare FF2 with FF7, they were made in 2 diffrent time periods and for 2 diffrent systems, of course part 7 will have better graphics, it was made for a much stronger system, and of course the story line will be more in depth, it was made with alot more capacity, and even though FF2 was limited by the technology of the time, it was still a great game, and people still pay a hell of alot more to buy it now, than they do to buy FF7, FF2 will sell used for anywhere from 40-60 bucks, FF7 new will sell for less than 20

personally i didnt like FF7, i thought it was annoying, FF8 was good, and even though i own FF9 for the PSX, since it was released, i still havnt played it, i will some day

i loved FF2 its nothing compared to ff7 just as prince said... were more advanced when we made ff7 it was totally different when we made ff2 it was WAY ahead of its time and i do rate ff2 the best ff besides ff9 ;)

Actually, Final Fantasy II sucked ass. If you want to do yourself a favour and play it PROPERLY, download Final Fantasy IV and the translation patch. That DIDN'T suck ass.
