Intro for Contra.

I got a ROM of Contra with an intro on it that I had never seen before. Back in 88 or 89 I got Contra for Christmas and I don't remember it having an intro.

I downloaded another copy of it that didn't have the intro, and it looked more like the copy that I had.

I'm wondering were there two seperate versions of Contra? One with the intro and one without? Thanks

What kind of intro? It's possible that it was a trainer, which is something that the people who dump the ROM put in
Sometimes you can cheat with them, they let you change how many guys you have, etc.

No, it was an actual intro.

It showed how the alien got there and stuff, it asteroid crashing into the planet.

I saw that on the ROM I got.

well you have the Hack version of it.
Its reall easy to do even,but who in there right mind would change that game????
It sucks after the 3rd stage!
