Need KOF99 PC help.

I just downloaded King of Fighters 99 Evolution (pc version) , burned it and got it installed. It runs but the graphics are very messed up. Mailny the backgrounds. Is there any way to fix the graphic problems? I have a geforce 256 DDR video card.
