Wait, dumb question but someone mentioned it once.
Is it true that burned copies of Photoshop, or any software, can mess up your computer when installed?
no that is not true but we do not help ppl on anything related to warez, so pls dont ask questions like that
is good software u should go buy it, ive used photoshop some but i cant do anything like some of these guys can, they do impressive work

I think there is a different program you have to use to put animations in a picture.
Me, i'm pretty much exclusive to pixelart now. hell, look at the link in my sig. it's either pencil/paper or pixels.
If you're looking for something like that, i might be able to help but...photoshop is not my area of expertise.

really who is acidglow? he sounds good imma have to check him up on the member's list.
Anyhoo my dad taught me how to use Photoshop last year. Im still not that good or anything but it seems to me that its the program to use.
CS2 is the latest version its very expensive *hint hint* (maybe you can get a discount).
On my other forum a senior member told me that you make animations in ImageReady. I gave it a shot in my sig. Its my first animated one. Very simple but at least i know it works. So yeah PS and IR! good luck Chi-Master.

Thankx. I guess you're talking about that old premade one. I was kinda new to PS back then. I've learned a few new things on the way. But ya, I love sprite sigs.:)

Most people just rip their sprites out of games with the emulators.

meh that takes too much time. that's why im glad a place like wickedgifs is still around.
btw could someone post a tutorial on ripping from emulators? i cant seem to remember how.
Its something with shots factory right?

no your talkin about ripping sprites if so use animation shop 3 http://www.emuasylum.com/wickedgifs/tutorials/generalripping/rippart2.html#preview
to have part one put rippart1 instead of rippart2

animation shop has an option to import all frames at the same time then you just have to replace the background color.

ehrrr..those premade ones were to be given away if anyone wanted them..I'd just fix them so their name was on it..that was when I was willing to give them away. Now they just sit there. X_X

Animation Shop 3's great. Made my little Bart Simpson sig from it. Once you mess with it enough, it becomes very simple & quick to use.

yeah that program is really awesome for GIFs especially ones ripped from kawaks. I like the little filters they have too@!

I've started building my motion stuff in AfterEffects. It's easier to do more complex things in it, rather than truly going frame-by-frame. My avatar's an early experiment. I've been using AE for video for quite some time now, but never for animated GIFs.
