I think I know some other information. I think this is megaman 64, but I'm not sure. Anways, you don't fight that much anymore, but you interact with the background a bit more. It's a bit more RPG-like.

Correct me if I'm wrong

No correction necessary, you are correct.

I wish I had friends like yours.

A simple yes or no will do if there is a site with Mega Man 8 for the PSX. Or is PSX emulation dead?

Skaeleen

Doesn't all of us want the entire MM series?

Skaeleen

Waddayameanlazy????

I looked allright......finding PSX ISOs is incredibly hard. I only managed to d/l 5 PSX games until now.
All I find is the vicious ominous circle of top 100 game sites without getting anywhere.

Skaeleen

I wish there was a program that cancels out unwanted pop-up windows. Especially where 3 or more pop up.

Skaeleen

There are supposedly programs that eliminate pop-ups, I don't know the names of any of them though

Infiltrator3000

the thing about these programs is that they close ALL popups. Click a link that makes a new window and that pop-up is closed. Tell the browser to "open in new window" (for IE) and the the program closes it

the lycos browser has an option where it asks you if you want the popups to open... just click yes if you're opening something in a new window

I use Norton Internet Security 2001 to get rid of pop-ups. It's great, it actually counts how many pop-ups it has blocked. Once, after only reading a report on 1wrestling.com, Norton said it had blocked 50+ ads! Yikes! The only problem is that some sites I go to require pop-ups to work, such as my favorite lotto site, luckysurf.com, so I usually leave it off unless it gets really bad.

I know there are some free ad blockers out there though, you can probably find one at Tucows.

myst man, if you want psx iso so bad, theres just one thing you gotta know: DON'T look for them at "classic" type sites..I mean don't look at www.whatever.com.
And DON'T use search engines...Thats the worst possible methode..

Rather, you should try the "alternate web"(or whatever you other guys call it)programs like irc, gnutella, hotline.
The only thing with these programs is that you got to have methodology and to be more patient.
You can't just start a search, and start downloading you're game 1 minutes later like you would do for a snes roms for example. Some 'hotline'server for example ask you to upload something first. And if everything goes well,2 or 3 days later you should receive an email with your pass/login.

BTW I have megaman X5.I would be willing to exange it if you have something good.

(edit note) oh fuck! I forget about those "Automatically parse URLs"..Well just forget the 'whatever.com'

Thanx system. (I only understood half of it oh well)
You mean you actually d/l MMX5 or just burned it on CD?
And how were yo going to trade such a large file through the net?
I d/l MMX4 PC-version (very good game) anda game called X-Tom 3D (AWESOME but hard 3D shooter) Here are some pics. They're in GIF format so in reality the colors look waaaaay better.

I downloaded it, then burned it. Its also possible to copy it yourself..(err...rent it,then burn.Of course, only people with absolutely no moral whatsoever would do that...*nervous laught*).

If we were to trade I guess that would be trough icq.

What part excatly you didn't understand(just use copy paste)?
I'll try to be more clear.

Myst Man

"alternate web"
irc,gnutella,hotline.
Those words I didn't understand.
ICQ? Damn, I was meaning to check into that but I never get around it. Where do I go for ICQ help?

And where I live places where you can rent PSX games they tape a sticker on the CD in a way so it can't be burned without removing the sticker. So you'll get caught. And I don't any body with the PSX games I want. Here in Holland lotsa ppl like the N64

Skaeleen
05-07-2001, 07:35 PM

By the way myst,I don't really understand those"stickers" thing..
You're saying that there is some sort of sticker on the cd that prevent the cd-drive of your computer to read it correctly but doesn't affect the playstation reading the cd?
How can that be?

Myst Man
05-07-2001, 09:17 PM
I didn't see the thing myself. My cousin told me about it when he wanted to burn a rented PSX game. He told me about the way CD's are burned, From the outside to the inside or something like that.I don't know how burners work but the sticker is placed in a way that it prevents the burner to begin burning all the info.....whatever

Just take my word for it, it can't be burned!

The D
05-07-2001, 10:15 PM
I don't get how those stickers would work either, hmm

Why am I the guy who explains this stuff?
The only program they mentioned that I have experience with is mIRC.
"Alternate web" refers to any method of navigating the web/sharing files that doesn't involve a web browser.
Gnutella from what I understand is a program for downloading files, similar to napster but used for everything, I might be wrong though.

IRC is a combination chat program and file sharing utility. You can log onto a server and go into "channels," then see what people are sharing and download whatever you might happen to be looking for. It's kind of confusing at first but once you figure out the basics of how to navigate and download it's not that bad.

Myst Man
