don't mean to be rude
but where have you been all this time?
n64 emulation started 2 years ago or so, and you're just coming in when it's dying out (aka gettin real illegal)
anyways if i see anything ill let ya know

Untill a month ago i didn't know what emulators or roms were! lol
I never thought you could play nintendo, sega, and other console games on a computer!

I don't know hardly anyting about this wole area of gaming! It's a total shock to me that it's even possible!
But I'm learning fast, i already downloaded hundreds of roms and am currently enjoying them all!
The only roms i can't seem to find are n64 roms, i really appreciate that you will let me know if you find it.

you remind me of myself about 5 months ago when i first discovered emulation.....now im a emu god....well kinda
anyway n64 emulation is the worst at the moment
- emus suck ass
- most roms are buggy as all hell
- controls are a nightmare on the keyboard
- roms are very big
in short if you really want to play mario64 buy a n64 its just not worth the freaking effort of tweaking everything just so you can try and play a buggy game on the keyboard *shudder* BUT.....mario is one of the only n64 games that runs perfectly on my comp :)
if you want the roms just run a search for them as there not that hard to find

Yes indeed, I wouldn't try too hard with N64 emulation at the moment. As Mink said there's various problems. Although hoarding ROMs for the day that there will be better emulation and less legal problems isn't a bad idea.
Right now there's a new emulator called Daedalus that might hold some promise, although at the moment it doesn't do much... I'd hold out on a better emulator.

heh also you're late on another thing, emusa was the shit place for getting n64 roms way back in the day.

hell we were known for having n64 roms. we had like 300, working links too :)
but once you get it working, there's really nothing special

Go to ultraaffliates.com (I think I spelt it wrong). There they have Mario 64. Use UltraHLE, Mario 64 works perfectly. Please read the readme file when you download it. It will save you time instead of posting and waiting for a reply.

that was entirely unneccasary, what point were you trying to make?

people like to download n64 roms?
n64 emulation has improved in the last 2 years?
the members of this emulation board are sometimes known to play roms?
