HELP! Forgot the name of this AWESOME arcade game...

Alright, back four years ago, there was this arcade game I used to play a lot at a PeterPiper-like pizza family restaurant like place with some of my friends. The closest game I can think of that resembles it is SmashTV, but its stil quite different. Its one of those games where you go around and shoot stuff and get powerups and stuff, and there's bosses, and stuff... you see the game from the overhead view, and when you die, your character's body flies up to the screen with a big bloody hole in it. If anything, I would think that would remind you of the game I'm talking about... anyway, I'm desperately in search of this game and would really appreciate it if someone would help me find it. It sounds like Total Carnage by Midway. that's a very similar game to smash tv.
do u remember the controls? i think it had no buttons, just 2 joysticks for each player.

Man,playing with 2 stick is just FREAKIN HARD!Don't know the reason,but my brain doesn't seem to be able to play with 2 stick at the same time..
I played the arcade smash TV, and I can't seem to be able to past the second room because of those frickin stick..I easily finish the snes version on the hardest difficulty though.And I consider myself a fairly good Robotron 2084 player.

thanks guys, total carnage... yep, thats definitely it. i had forgotten about those two sticks- I was awesome with those! anyway, i'm gonna see if i can find somewhere to download it... ttyl
