Emulation USED to the preservation of old games. then around 1998 it became another form of priating games.

I'd seriously just buy Zelda. Gameboy games go with N64 games as roms that just aren't worth playing because of how badly emulated they are. No matter how much I tinker with the gameboy emulators, the audio always sounds insanely off-key. And with a game like Zelda which has one of the most beautiful BGM's out there, you have to get the real thing to experience it fully.

y2kev man which ever gameboy emu ur using must really suck i've never had any sound problems with any gb gbc roms

Yes, there is sound, but compared to the original, it definitely sounds very off-key. I used to use Nocash, and now I've switched over to hgb. Both of them produced the same off-key music.

y2kev i own a real gbc i only have one game for it due to lack of interest in as of lately the a link to the past is wot made me buy a gbc cuz it is that damn good i never listen to the sound on it cuz i perfer listening to my cds :p

But money is obviously an issue, so im playing the games on REW.
