For Mario 64 all she gave him was a kiss on the nose and a stupid cake
Which was probably eaten by the time he got in the castle anyway
I think for all the crap he went through he deserves a little more, if you know what I mean

The Donkey Kong 64 ending was quite good I suppose.

arcade games have the worst endings as do PC games from my experinace
perfect darks ending was dissapointing as i was expecting some big cool ending since most rare games usually have good endings

hmm, yeah I was totally disappointed w/ Perfect dark's ending, this goes for Megaman X5 too, Capcom kills Zero in nearly every episode...

I have too many good endings to choose from. I remember the first good ending I ever saw was Actraiser. After playing Nes games since 88, I wasn't prepared for one of the first SNES games I owned to have a 20 minutes ending! Wow!

The worse ending, hands down, is the Karate Kid NES. I mean, I loved that game, especially the fly catching bonus round. But that ending just sucked. They could've at least drawn Miyagi correctly!!

And I love ken's ending with x-man vs. streetfighter hehehe.

Metal Gear Solid had quite a cool ending as well...

Oh I don't know, so many games to choose fromff5it's too hard... What? I didn't say anything... Actually, I enjoyed Pocket Fighter's endings, they were pretty funny. I used to like Banjo-Kazooie's ending till I played Banjo-Tooie. I wanted to actually get those hidden items from the first one, not just some gay Game Paks!!! Duke Nukem PC's ending is pretty damn cool. Heh, Duke gets a great reward for a job well done... Worst ending goes to Spider Man and Venom: Separation Anxiety for SNES. No credits, not even a congrats. Just the words "Game End" with a picture of Carnage in the background.:o :o :o

Yeah, Zelda 3's ending rocked! The ending music has to be one of the best out there, and is definitely the greatest rendition of the Zelda theme.

Y'know, I just realized this post is in the arcade forum. I'm wondering if we're suppose to be talking about good arcade endings? That's a bit harder, since good endings are rare. I could name off a lot of bad endings . . . Dance Dance Revolution, Ryu's 2-frame ending in SF3 3rd Impact . . . However, the endings for SFA3 are pretty good.

i always hated it when id bea an arcade game, and id get the message from the president telling me to SAY NO to drugs,

really old arcade games had little to no ending

i was really disappointed with the simpsons endiing, nothing really happened, they just showed them walking home with the credits on the screen

IMO KOF 97 with kyo iori chizuru team was the best ending ever....(you know the one with yuki saying "kyo i'll be
waiting for you") a big contrst to sooooooo plain

I liked the Resident Evil 2 & 3 endings, also I liked Code Veronica.






The Super Castlevania 4 ending sucked to me. All they showed was Simon Belmont just looking at the castle fall and then they showed the credits.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same for all the Castlevania's. I personally felt jipped after spending gazillion of hours finishing 2 and 3.

Hmm . . . if I remember correctly, several other games have adopted this castle-crumbling ending. MegaMan X, Ninja Gaiden . . .
