I agree with D. So far, the best mame game I've played (and one of the few I've gotten to work) is TMNT. After playing the NES version for the past 10 years (man I never did use my Pizza Hut coupon :) ), it felt so good to play the real 4-player arcade version!

The only other MAME I've played is Aliens, which ain't as good as the real thing.

The best game for me would either have to be TMNT or Wardner. 4-player TMNT just simply rocks while Wardner is a great underrated platform game.

I just played the TMNT arcade sequel . . . and it sucked. Well, it sucked compared to the SNES one. I never thought I'd say this but a console adaption has actually surpassed the arcade one. Sure there's more digitized voices (most of which don't match the cartoon) and a 4 player option, but the SNES version has more levels, better bosses, a longer ending, and Super Shredder! :D

I just tried out Wrestlemania arcade on Mame and that's a helluva fun too, even though it follows none of the "logistics" of wrestling, or the laws of physics for that matter. :) That leg of lamb flying out of Yokozuna when he gets hit is hillarious.

My most favorite Mame games are TMNT,TMNT2 In Time,Simpsons. I too agree that the Snes version was 5 times better than the arcade version.After getting the NES version of TMNT, I was extremely disapointed because it wasn't the same.

I E-mailed Konami about possibly porting them to gameboy advance, they'll be great hits and I sure want to see Turtles In Time for Gameboy Advance, also the first one for it too with the graphics looking just like the arcade version.Also since Simpson was never ported to a console, this is the best time for it on a portable system.Great 3 games for the road!!!

Since GBA is what I've dubbed "the rerelease system" I wouldn't be surprised if they did do a "TMNT Allstars." I'd love to see them do an update for TMNT 3 -- that was the best TMNT game ever made.

I just d/l Last Blade and Last Blade 2 for mame. Ok, I ended up playing them on NeoRage, but I just wanted to advertise them for those who haven't tried this obscure title yet. These two are the most beautiful fighter I have ever seen.

Well thanks to this topic I decided to download mame.

I cant stand those damn adult. I rather just look at an adult site. I find those dumb, and they frikin cheat. Maybe they are just to hard for me. :(

But the games I have enjoyed so far are Simpsons, TMNT, Guwange, Don Pachi, DonDon Pachi, ESP Ra.DE, Batsugun, Armed Police Batrider. Actually those are the only ones I have played so far. :)

Since I have only had it for 2 days now. I dont really have a fav. But Guwange has probably been the best so far.

some are plain ridiculous...don't they try their roms

I am sorry, but the ULTIMATE game for MAME is Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara. Second up is Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom. NOTHING can compare to the depth and scope of these games. Not to mention the complexity of the combat system of SOM. Its at its best when you play with one or more other people, as the game is based on comradery ( i cant spell at 2 am ). You NEED TO GET THESE GAMES. NO MAME COLLECTION IS COMPLETE WITHOUT THEM.

cool trick - im sure a lot of you know this but try mapping player 2 and player 3 buttons the same as player 1 and move the characters so that there standing on top of each other and boom triple firepower :D this is frikken great for flying shooters
