How do I contact the staff of this site? | Send a message through the contact form, we will try to reply within 24 hours. |
What is the search box for? | The search box works both ways, it is there to help you the user find items and other gaming related goodies all over the net, AND it helps generate money for this site. So use it! |
What is the login system? | The login system is there for registered members to access certain functions of the site. You are not required to login if you do not want to. |
What is the comment system? | Comments are available for users to review each game and give a rating. They are NOT for chatting or comments about the site in any way. Comments are moderated and ones that do not meet our requirements are turned down. |
What is .rar or .zip? | These are compression types. They are simply made to make the files smaller. I suggest just getting since it handles both. |
I want to become an affiliate. | We do not have any affiliate type system. |

Why don’t you have any newer systems like GBA or NDS? | These are still being sold, the entire point is to emulate games and systems you can no longer buy in stores, stop being cheap and support the game makers!!! |
I have some roms you don’t, want to trade? | We only trade the ISOs, and we have most all of them, but if you see something we do not have send us an email and maybe… |
I need to use a download manager, can I? | No for security reasons we do not support download managers and this will not change ever. |
What is the download limit and why do you have it? | Bandwidth is not free, and some people, instead of just downloading what they wish to play, like to drain the site for everything to fill their personal “collection.” This can cause us to run out of bandwidth before the month is over resulting in having to shut down the roms section completely.
The standard user download limit is 120 MBs per day, which is plenty to get whatever you need each day. The day “rolls over” at 12 a.m. CST, 1 a.m. EST. - right now it is being reset manually and so it will be done around that time.

If you canceled a download, such as selected the file to download then changed your mind and canceled, it is still counted against you (just the way the script is). If you run into this problem please do not contact me about it, wait until tomorrow. |

Do you always have the newest emulators? | We try to but some get overlooked. If you see an emu that is outdated report it in the request forum. |
Can I get an entire rom set in 1 zip file?
Why do you charge to get some roms and not others? | Again it comes down to bandwidth and resources. No other sites that do not do what we do offer Sega CD and other large ISOs for this exact reason, it is just too big a drain and too costly. Charging a small one time fee prevents freeloaders from draining the server to download games they are never going to play, just so they can have it. It also gives the site the ability to upgrade to larger hard drives and more bandwidth for everyone.
Bottom line is if you do not or can not pay; look elsewhere for the bigger stuff. It can be found on eDonkey, direct connect, kazaa and other popular file sharing programs. |
How long does it take for my status to be changed after I donate? | Depends, can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 12 hours or longer depending on if I am home or not. Status change is done manually. Before you donate please read this page. Also be sure to send me your forum user name. |
I sent the staff an email and no one has responded, what should I do? | Give it at least 24 hours to get a response but if still no one has responded post a message in the appropriate forum. |
What do all the letters, such as (U)!, next to roms mean? | These letters a symbols are called "GoodCodes." Codes made up by the creator of GoodTools to symbolize specific meaning. You can find a complete list of them here |
I have questions not answered here where can I get help? | Ask for help in the appropriate forum. Do not email me asking for emu or rom support or requests. |
