I joined this site a number of years ago. I was having trouble finding all the sega cd games I wanted to download. Later I picked up a 3do and I was sold, where else could I find exactly what I wanted. I can't speak more highly of any website. If you are a retro gaming fan and looking for your fix than don't hesitate to join please donate and keep this site going. They even check in once in a while with an email and also to wish me Happy Birthday,
Thanks
Much Love and Respect.
A collector and devoted fan.

Nice site. I was not so sure if i can trust the donation process. Based on the testimonials I figured it's worth trying, so I Paypaled my donation amount for premium membership and voila.. It is worth every penny. I am enjoying some great games now.. thank you!

I have been a member of this site for 5 years now and I am so glad that I joined. When I learned about video game emulation I tried downloading a few MAME (arcade) roms off of a few other sites and had no clue how to operate them. Over a year had gone by and I found no one that could help me. Then I found Emuasylum. Not only did the people here and the helpful guides show me what to do, they did in a friendly manner. You don't see that much on other sites still to this day. Since then, I have enjoyed many games that I remember playing when I was a kid...and I am from the Atari era...hint hint...they got them too!!
The forums here are very great with some awesome people running them. You can find any subject you can think of and some you never have thought of. Just a bit of info....don't piss off a moderator....lol. Of you need help with an Emulator....they are here to help you or having computer problems, people here can point you in the right direction.
As far as donations go, no one will hassles you or begs. Donations are needed to help keep the site running and maintained. Also, they will upgrade your membership to allow you to download even more roms from different systems.
If you are looking for a great site to join for gaming, good conversation, and meet some new and exciting people...THIS IS THE PLACE TO DO IT!! Thanks EmuA for everything and I look forward to many more years being a part of a great community.

Emulation has always been such a gift to the PC world, and thanks to EmuAsylum that gift is growing all the time with new things to play. EmuAsylum is truly the greatest emulation site, hands down.

This site has been my fave since 2003 when I joined. I've been an avid gamer all my life, the first job i had was working at an Arcade and I still hold those memories, man the 80's were great.......Some may say I'm am old gamer, but you had to be there in the 80's to understand what i mean.........Those memories will live on the rest of my life. Thanks EmuAsylum for being there when so many sites have come and gone..............................Play hard

I am a big fan and follower of the emulation scene and have dozens of emu sites in my favorites, but i always end up back here becuase they have the most complete selection and are always growing. when ever you have a question or problem they are always quick to respond. the site is very rarly down and i have never run into a dead link, spoof link, or re directing link. the site is great and i will go on record and say it is the best emu site on the net because of content, speed and reliability

I found out about this site many years ago when I first found out about emulation and roms. I have seen sites come and go, but Emuasylum has been there strong the whole time.
I recommend upgrading to platinum, because it is really amazing being able to assemble an awesome TGCD and Sega Saturn collection. Games I have only dreamed of being able to play.
I can say this is the best romsite on the net without a doubt! Thank you for all the years of fun Emuasylum!

With all the rom sites I've visited over the years this has always been my best port of call. The selection is incredible and I believe its definately worth the time and effort to contribute to become a platinum member.
My hats off to Ice and the rest of his team for keeping this site/forum going for as long as they have. Without their dedication it would be far more difficult to find these game roms.

This site is awesome. If you are into Sega Saturn in particular. The download speeds are usually around 1 meg per second for me. No complaints at all. Donate your money, it is a good cause.

I think I speak for everyone here when I say this is a fantastic site. If you were part of my generation, and I'm assuming a lot of us here are, you grew up playing video games. Since a lot of us still crave to play those old favorites, its nice that they have a home here. My personal favorite, a horse racing simulation game on sega saturn, lol go figure right. But it's here and its absolutely AMAZING!

I thought they were crazy to ask for so much money... Until I found out what you get!!! Entire libraries of console ROMS, including ISOs that would take years to download from torrent sites. The tech support is amazing! They practically hold you by the hand and walk you through any problems you may have (getting emulators to work, etc.). If you come across a ROM that doesn't work, let them know and they fix it ASAP! I can't believe the personal attention you get on this site! It's amazing! I got my money's worth within the first 24 hours of joining.

Originally when I came across EmuAsylum.com I thought to myself... "Why the hell would I ever pay someone money for something like this?"
Now for the past couple years that I have been with the site I'm glad that I decided to do it. For a small fee I've been able to get hard to find items and right off of EmuAsylum's servers. Things like Sega CD, 3DO, Turbo CD. Also it's not all torrents like most sites these days and I find torrents annoying. (Mainly because I don't like to seed back). So yeah I suggest becoming a Premium member ASAP you won't regret it.

Excellent site for all roms and emulators. It however it is not quite complete though, especially for the MAME roms. Not all
MAME roms are available especially the large
chds and certain titles such as the tekken series. It complements, but not replace the need for the MAME Rom DVD sets you can get
over the net.Nonetheless I still highly recommend this site a lot especially for the ISOs including the Dreamcast ISOs. I would
gladly donate more than 100 dollars to keep
this site up and running.

Love this site, have always found it easy and relatively quick to download any and all applications and files I've wanted to.
After being here for almost a year lurking in the background I decided to chip in and donate for the platinum membership. Though I've not acquired any Dreamcast roms through it I believe that this site had earned my support a long time ago and it was time to settle up.
Quite simply, a fantastic site.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this site. The roms, emulators and information available here have been priceless. Thank you Emuasylum for everything. I have no complaints - er, well maybe one: more pics of the 'happy birthday' shiela - one just wasn't enough.

First off I gotta say. I love this site. As far as paying for the bigger files? I believe that's also fair seeing as those are harder to come by. Even trying to find torrent files on them. The only issue/hope I have is that I wish emuasylum would post psx/ps2 iso's as well. I know that there's copyright issues and whatnot, but that's the same with all systems, yeah? Great site overall. I am a proud member.

The name says all you need to know...it is an emulation asylum. A no-nonsense no bs site that is easy to use, up to date and so well worth being a member of. Its a one of a kind at the moment and a big appreciation goes out to the main man here.

This website has some rares that you would have to pull teeth to find. My only problem is that some of the saturn games don't work since they are named funny and such, but this is the only website as well that has an up to date MAME romset.

When I first started in emulation, I was going to at least a dozen different sites. One of the sites I would visit recommended this site. I was mainly looking for arcade & SNES roms at the time, so I was just a regular member for a while. Soon, this was 1 of the 3 sites I came to. I got interested in Saturn isos, and I wanted my appreciation anyway, so I became a Silver member. This year, I plan to become a Platinum member.
My only gripe here is that there are no PS isos, but I totally understand why they're not here. So, that's not really a gripe, but it would be nice if they were here.
This site has the best collection of games around and you get updates of what's going on. I haven't found another like it. It's totally worth being a member here.

Just do yourself a favor and get the full platinum membership. I am a huuuuge emulation fan and this is by far the most dependable and no BS site on the web right now. This site keeps up with just about all the updates, and coming from a guy that keeps a fully updated MAME emulator thats pretty good. Thanks EmuAsylum.

If you're like me, you came here because you wanted to find a way to play all those games you remembered so fondly when you had that console that you sold (and could kick yourself for it now).
I had known about emulators and checked a few sites but this one is the best I've found hands down. I learned all I know about emulators here. The staff are quick to respond to requests, the selection is top notch and if you're really lost, odds are someone in the forums knows what you're trying to do and can help. There are quality emulators for everything you can think of and multiple versions if one won't work just quite right with your system.
I've found old gaming favorites I thought I'd never find again. Some ISO files WONT be found on other sites. Trust me, I looked.
Honestly, I don't go anywhere else for ROM's or emulators since I found this place.

I've been a member here for a while now and into emulation for a little longer before I found this place. They have lots of old school roms, and their organized very well. Some are messed up but there's usually several different versions so thats not so bad. The stuff you get with Premium, Silver or Platinum accounts, can actually be found for free on another rom site, you'll have to find that yourself. Most of the stuff there isn't organized as well and they tend to link to megaupload and rapidshare so those links might not always be active.
Here on the other hand everything is organized, and if something isn't there but use to be, chances are it never worked or it's temporarily down. You can request the rom as long as you meet the standards.
This is a legit place, they don't carry protected old school games, GBA, PSX, or any of the other newer systems so this site will probably be around for a while if they keep that up.
If you need help just go into the forums and ask. However I would advise thats all you do, the community is a bit trollish, and loves to flame for stupid shit, overall it's a waste of time. The gaming threads are pretty dead but that's b/c of the flaming that goes on from other ignorant users, some threads will even get closed down b/c of this.
I once had some comedy videos put up about a console, and I gave my opinion of said console as well. The flamers got a hold of it and the gaming mod didn't like my opinion, and closed it down. Thats not how a community should run.
All in all it's a good rom site, a somewhat helpful community, but not very good socially.

You know, I've been doing this emulation thing for like ten years now, and I've had to wade through some shitty sites in my time. Not to mention having more than one favored emulation site disappear (Anyone remember Plasticman? Cherryroms? Edge Emulation?). So to have a long-time, dedicated site like EmuAsylum is a real blessing. Seriously, people. The roms are legion. The community is bumpin'. The donation investment is more than worth it (all the content of ISO torrents with no ratios or seeds? lovely). There's FAQs to help you with all your emulation troubles (I've used them myself, they're great). And you know that little window at the top right with the latest emulator updates? Don't think of it as simply a newsfeed. Think of it as proof that the staff cares enough about this site, and consequently all of you, to keep daily tabs on what's happening out there in emulation land. It's the little things that make it different, and better. You're all damn lucky this place exists, and don't forget it.

I have come to Emuasylum for a few years now, even though I have full ROM sets on my PC they constantly post up new games and things I don't have such as Dreamcast games!!
Not to mention the staff is dedicated to getting you the info you need to get games up and running or whatever.
The forums have been my friend for a while now since any question I post I get instant responses with many many willing people looking to help me!
I am not a proud platinum member and plan on being one forever.

I have been into emulation since 1994 and I have to say that, EmuAsylum is one the fairest ROM sites I've seen, hands down. Not only do the folks at EmuAsylum offer you just about every ROM download and not ask you to donate, but even with a SMALL donation, you only donate once and are a lifetime member. You'd be hard-pressed to find another ROM site that is as fair, helpful and constantly updated as EmuAsylum is.
I will ALWAYS support EmuAsylum!

Some time ago, I stumbled upon this emulation site whilst looking for...well...ROMs. It didn't take long for me to take a fancy to this site, seeing as it housed almost every ROM and ROM hack/translation/etc. known to man kind! I was so impressed, in fact, that I donated some money to the site even BEFORE I found out about the "Membership" system! I eventually donated enough to earn Platinum Membership and to this day, this is the place I come for ROMs of old games I used to play and can't find anymore.
The staff has always been very helpful and extremely nice to myself and others, the ROM selection is unmatched by most other sites, and best of all, there's absolutely no strings attached! Download what you want and come back the next day if you want more! Donate and be able to download more per day! No strings, no tricks, no spyware. Just pure, oldschool gaming at its finest!
Thanks, EmuAsylum, for staying so awesome over the years! Here's to many more years of oldschool gaming for everyone!

I was lost in life. No direction, no purpose... no future. Each day was an enternity of disappointment.
Then I discovered emuasylum. They helped me get my life back on track one day at a time. They showed me the beauty that each new moment could offer.
Things started to change in my life. Suddenly I wasn't afraid of disappointment or failure, because these things only help you learn and become stronger. I am now surrounded by an aura of confidence.
I don't know what direction life will take me, but I do know that as long as I have emuasylum with me I can survive anything. Thank you emuasylum.
